A trip to General Santos City

We left Cagayan de oro city at 2:30 AM. The weather was good and my uncle let me drive because I said i will drive on bukidnon cause I already know the route in Bukidnon. nWe are going to General Santos City To attend the wedding of my cousin Adrian Beltran. I drive my ubncles Honda City and when we are at Ipasug-ong Bukidnon one of our rear tire got flat so we change tire and my uncle said he will drive so I sit on the front seat with my mother and my aunt at the backseat. It was a nice trip with the views so good when the sun started to rise in Valencia bukidnon. I enjoy the nice scenery on the musuan peak and I noticed that my uncle did not notice an aisle at the front gate of CMU and he hit it and the car flew to the air and landed very near to the next isle. He applied for a brake when he noticed the center aisle but it too late because the traffic sign was not there to give us warning that it was an aisle. When the car stopped many people come to us checking if we were alright. we found out that the rear tire was flat so I ride a habalhabal to dulogon to let our flat spare tire be vulcanized. While on the vulcanizing shop it was the time that I feel nervous and i noticed that my knees are shaking. We change tire and my uncle check his car for damage but it was only slight so we decided to continue our trip. My uncle let me drive and I was on the driver seat for almost ten hours and we arrive at Gen San at 2:30 PM because we wasted and hour because we were lost on our route to Digos City and we follow the road to Cotabato. We rush to a hotel and get dressed because the wedding ceremony will start at 3:00 O clock. We then went to the church and we got there on time. It was a solemn ceremony and its nice to see them make their vows. We wnt to the reception and i felt so happy to see my cousin's face very happy on his wedding day. I wish them all the luck!!!

Our trip back in Cagayan De oro was very enjoying because we buy fruits and we take pics on views and sights on our way home. I wished that the people from DPWH will check on the missing traffic sign that will warn travellers on the center aisle in front of CMU. If that will be left their without a warning sign then many accidents will still happen there.

Human Statue - Dire Husi

It was a Saturday evening when I decided to stroll with my Kid Tebor in the DV Soria Night Cafe. We roamed around looking at the Items for sale and food to eat and something caught my attention. It was a crowd drawing group playing native musical instruments with one person painted his body with silver and standing in the middle of a crowd as if he is a statue a human statue. One can take pic and a donation for their cause is expected. I put my ten Peso coin in their box for my appreciation of their artistic idea in drawing crowd. We enjoy our stroll at the park and we went home. I opened my PC and search on the net and know more about the group. This group named themselves Dire Jose Initiatives. Established in 2004, “Dire” is a Visayan word for “here” and “Husi“ is a Manobo word for “friend.” Dire Husi is an organization of indigenous and out-of-school young people in Northern Mindanao. Based in Cagayan de Oro City, the group runs a social enterprise that creates and sells indigenous-inspired terracotta accessories, musical instruments, and soil paintings. Dire Husi also performs “enthralling and upbeat" world music that fuses indigenous chants and rhythms with contemporary beats. Dire Husi believes in Fair Trade.
